Spotify Gift Card is not valid

Spotify Gift Card is not valid

I just bought two Spotify Cards. I come home about 30 minutes later and they say they are invalid. I know this correct, but isn't working. What can I do?

Hi Stuwartz, are you certain that the store activated the gift cards? It would seem unlikely that you would get two bad cards at the same time. Most likely issue is that they just didn't activate them. I would try going back to the store with your receipt and confirm with them. Hope this helps!

I am having the same issue, excel put I tried to use my card the day after I purchased my card. Plus I threw my receipt away... Going back now to see if I can work something out to see if it just didn't get activated or what.

Same here i bought one card and it didnt work i went back to store and tey activated a new one this one also says its invlaid

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM SPOTIFY?!?! THIS IS RIDICULOUS AS ALL HELL!!!

Theyre not responding to any of my emails tweets or posts, This is making me a little mad

Oh they responded to my email but what they did was not at all useful, helpful, or anything I hadn't already done. This is what it said...

If the website isn’t accepting your card details try giving it a go in a different Internet browser (Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc). Alternatively, you can try using an Incognito/private browsing window in your current browser.

This prevents any cookies or cached data from interfering with the signup process and helps with payment issues on the website.

If your payment card has already been used on another Spotify account, you won't be able to use it to subscribe to our Intro Offer. If possible, we’d suggest trying again using a different payment method, such as other payment card or PayPal. We might have more luck this way.
