Spotify continues to logging in old Facebook account.

For ages now I've been wanting to link my Spotify account to my new Facebook account but it just never works. I disconnect, I connect to the new one and it simply just logs in my old account. I've reinstalled the program and still it persists on using my old Facebook. It's showing up on the browser Spotify but not on the program itself. 

This is frankly very annoying as I don't use my old account and this also makes it somewhat difficult to share songs with my friends.
