We'd recommend following these troubleshooting steps. Also, using a different web browser, an incognito window, and deleting cache/cookies should help. If you're still unable to change your payment method, just get in touch with our Accounts team via this contact form, on Twitter with the @SpotifyCares handle, or on our Facebook page.

I have tried several different times but it will not let me change my credit card information. When I click on the Update button under payment details, it just returns me to that same exact page or it says my page has timed-out. I no longer have money on the card that is linked to this account and I really need to change it so I can continue with Spotify premium. 

Same issue is occurring for me and my coworker in the same office.  We've tried Chrome, incognito Chrome, and Firefox.  Still receiving a 504 gateway time-out.
