Trying to access family plan on other devices (iPhone)

Trying to access family plan on other devices (iPhone)

I've sent the link to my husband's phone via text.  Our whole family uses the same applestore account.  When I click the link, I get a message that says "Cannot join Premium for Family"  and a secondary message " Sorry! You're already a member of this (or another) Family plan..."  I can log into my account on husband's phone but it will only allow me to play music on one of the devices.  Thanks in advance!!

@mlperkins5 hey there, sorry to hear you're having issues with your subscription.

 

here are some useful troubleshooting steps that resolve most issues:

  • log out of all devices, then back in
  • uninstall the app, restart your device(s) and then re-install.
  • next, you can sign out of all devices here.
  • clear the cache for the app.
  • i would suggest a fresh re-install of flash which you can do here.
  • try listening on a different device to see if the same problem occurs.

 

If not, the quickest way to contact spotify directly is via hereor @SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter.

 

If you let them know as much as you can about your problem - your operating system, spotify version, how you're connecting (i.e. wifi), how long you've had this issue, and the steps you've taken to resolve it - they can have a look on their end and sort this out ASAP.
