Two forum accounts, can't log in to the first

Hi.

I logged in to my account and created a community account with the name faern: http://community.spotify.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/386418

Then I posted in the Need your offline devices reset? Post here thread (first post on page 99).

But today when I wanted to unsubscribe since I get too many emails the community tell me once again to give it an alias. Yes I'm logged in to the same spotify account. And I can't give faern since it's used already. Therefore I used faern2 (this account). Why did the old one get lost? How do I get it back?

So what I want:

• Remove this account
• Be automatically logged in to the community alias faern.
• Stop getting emails saying that forum thread got new posts every 10 seconds or so.

Please help.

Community accounts are most defintely tied to your Spotify username, you are 100% sure you are logging into the same account? 

I will see if I can grab someone to look into this for you.

Hey faern,

Seems you had a second account tied to your email address, which we've now deleted, so that should solve that problem.

In terms of notifications, you can manage all those here.

I see. I guess that other account was from some unfortunate association with my Facebook account a long time ago. I have not had that connected or used in a long time though. I always log in using my spotify details.

Well, good you sorted out some old bad data. As long as I can log in with my spotify credentials and keep my premium status I'm happy. I guess having the nick faern2 here is ok.

No.. Problem persists.

I still get notification emails for the account "faern". And since I can't log in to that account I can't edit my email settings. Please take another look and remove that account or make it so that I can log in to it.

We can't remove the account unfortunately but I have edited the subscription settings on it. Hopefully that'll stop notifications being emailed to you. Let us know if not.
