My Question or Issue

Issue:
Can't login to my account.

Trying to login via email/pw = "this email and password combination is incorrect".
Trying to login via facebook = "something went wrong".
Trying to sign up to a new account using the same email = "this email is taken, go to login".

I have access to the email account in question that has been used for the account for the past 10+ years (I think my account is closer to 20 years old by now).

I have access to the facebook account I tied the login to as well.

Requesting a password reset link being sent to the email (that you have confirmed exist in your system, since I get told that it's "taken" when trying to sign up for a new account) results in me not getting a single mail (see further down for attempted things "For pc")

Attempted things: (cellphone)
1) Cleared cache
2) Cleared data
3) Restarted phone
4) Reinstalled app
5) Restarted phone
6) Whitelisted the app in my vpn to allow it through via split-tunnelling
7) Turned off the vpn entirely

For pc:
1) Tried logging in with 3 different browsers on 4 different computers/laptops
2) Restarted them all and tried #1 again
3) Tried logging in using email/pw, no dice, that combo doesn't exist
4) Tried logging in via facebook, just get an error
5) Tried resetting my password, never get an email with the link
6) Checked spam folder, it's completely empty
7) Checked for blocked senders, spotify isn't on my blocked senders list, in fact, my blocked senders list is also empty.
