Updated Facebook picture but doesn't update on my Spotify profile

Hello, I updated my Facebook profile picture and it shows up in the top right hand corner, however when I go to my Spotify profile it still shows my old one. Any way to update this?

Any help is appreciated.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Your picture is probably being cached (stored locally) in your Spotify client, since things like that don't change very often. It should update eventually by itself. It will most likely have already updated for anyone else viewing your profile for the first time. 

A quick clean reinstallation of the client might force it to update on your system (try a quick log out and back in first!)

My issue is very similar.. Just that in my case, I disconnected my old facebook and connected my new one.. I can see the change on the website but the old facebook name and profile picture are still showing up.. I logged in and out a handful of times to no avail.. I also did a clean reinstallation and it still shows the old information.

It will sort itself out over a few days. Everyone should see the new details except you, for now. It's not a big deal.

I'm afraid it is a bit of a big deal for me, I'm paying for this service every month and have someone elses facebook friends showing when i need to see my own. There should be an easy way to fix this.

@martinmcmahon - Is your account definitely connected to your Facebook? If you have a Spotify username style account, go to Edit/Spotify > Preferences > Social Network > Disconnect from Facebook and then reconnect with your own details.
