Upgraded but haven't got premium

Upgraded but haven't got premium

Hi, I upgraded my phone from an iPhone 4s to a 5s & had spotify premium with my last contract & loved it so decided to keep it but it hasn't transferred to my new phone. Please can u fix this. Not good without it. Ta

Hi, and welcome to the community!

 

Please note it can take some time for a premium subscription to activate across all devices.

1) Have you checked your Subscriptions page to make sure you are successfully premium?
2) Try logging out/in and reinstalling Spotify.
3) Make sure you're logging in with the right account; it's very easy to have both facebook and Spotify details!

I don't know what's up with it but not very happy. Tried uninstalling it tried different things. Not happy that you can't really speak to someone about it. I've had my new phone about a month now!!!

@Loumack82 - Are you still having issues after following the steps above?

Yes, doesn't recognise that I've got it through vodafone. Asked vodafone but they said it's a spotify issue. What should I do?

Is your account showing as Premium on your online overview? If it is, you should be good to go. If your account is still showing as free, you aren't logged into the account Vodafone have upgraded for you. It is amazingly easy to accidentally have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and a completely seperate one via Facebook, so it is worth checking your details and making sure you are logging into the account Vodafone say they have upgraded for you. 

If you can't get it fixed on your own, get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and explain the situation, and they can have a search for your Premium account for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
