Wrong facebook account

Hi,

 

This weekend, I connected my spotify account to my girlfriend's iPad. His brother wanted to share a playlist, so I pressed on "Find Friends", which bring me to the Facebook Connection. I pressed on "Connect to Facebook", and it automatically connected to my girlfriends facebook. I checked the FAQ page on the spotify website, and found the first solution to Disconnect from Facebook. I went on the desktop app, and disconnected from my GF's facebook and connected to my Facebook. I saw on the FAQ it could take up to 24 hours for changes to take effect, so I waited. 

 

48 hours later, whe nI get on the spotify app, on ios, android or PC, it still has my girlfriends name and profile picture.

 

I contacted spotify from the contact form, and the only helped I recieve was the EXACT SAME SOLUTIOn we could find on the webpage. I stated clearly that I did all the steps and it didn't work. 

 

Can someone please help?

Don't worry, sometimes this sort of changes might take a few days to be visible. If you've already linked your Facebook profile to your Spotify account, you should already be able to share your music and find your Facebook friends, but the information related to your profile (name/picture) might take a little bit longer to take effect on all your devices.

 

If you don't see any changes in the upcoming days, you can get in touch with our Accounts team from any of our social media help sites: @SpotifyCares and SpotifyCares. They can take a closer look.
