cannot login anymore

When I try to login using my facebook email and password, it says my email/password is invalid. This just started happening yesterday. I don't know if this is related to me continuing my spotify premium account for the 30 day trial, since this also happened yesterday. I have taken the following steps already, to no avail:

 

1. I triple-checked my facebook email and password

2. I changed my password

3. I uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify.

 

None of this has worked. Please help.

Same problem here.. we definitely need a fix that doesn't force us to loose all our playlists and starred stuff. I'ts 3 days now without spoty.! thanks

Same problem. I want to cancel but it tells me to enter my password to confirm the cancellation. I do so, and it says the password is incorrect.

I want the premium GONE and I am very sure that the password I am entering is correct.

 

Telling me I have to wait 3 days for a reply from Customer Help is down right rediculous.

We're all experiencing the same problem.  None of us can login, we don't want to lose our playlists, and some of us are premium members being locked out of something we're paying for.

 

Please help us with all this facebook/password/premium/September 21 nonsense.  If you guys are in the midst of a hot fix or something, at least tell us what's going on.

Same issue. Now I can log in, but all my playlists, starred songs, and Spotify Apps are gone. Furthermore I'm considered a Free user (although I've been Premium for 6 months or so). I also get awkward "Welcome to Spotify" kinds of mails... Guess my account has somehow been erroneously reset. Hope it gets resolved...

The solution the Spotify guy posted worked for me, it's just annoying to have to do this:

My playlists survived somehow. Everything seems to be OK except the "What's New" section won't load for me, but those are typically garbage anyway.

I have a problem with logging in also, however I never had a spotify account. I registered using facebook. I've had this problem for weeks now. It'd be nice to log in -.-

 

Edit: Apparently setting a password for all devices fixed the problem. It doesn't explain how my facebook password stopped working though.

Just to keep you updated, we're in the process of sorting out the root cause for this and in the meantime we'll help as many of you out as we can.

Please firstly check the solution we wrote up in the thread posted by TheOneWhoKnocks above. If you find it doesn't help then it may be because the duplicate account is on a 48 hour trial, which will either run out in time or can be terminated by us.

I've had a look and your account is active and healthy. When you log in are you receiving any error/ codes or messages?

 

Please also be sure you're using the exact same email address and password that you use for Facebook. 

Hi Spotify team.

i can not log into my Spotify áccount anymore - not in the browser, not in the app, not in the software. I used to login via Facebook.

To Facebook it is still possible to login. I tried to solve the problem by changing the Facebook passwort - no success.

Please help me - A life without Spotify is so boring 😉 THANKS in advance, Jens

Just got a sonos and a premium spotify acct yesterday. Was not streaming well so I went online and read that reloading the app may help. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Now it is gone from my Facebook so I cannot login. I have attempted to reset the password. It says I do not now have a spotify acct tied to my Facebook but when I try to sign in another way it says I must use the Facebook signin to access my acct. it will not authorize through my sonos. Please get me up and running

@Paramed1976 - There are reported issues with Spotify and Facebook logins at the minute, hopefully its just a temporary issue. Give it a little time and then try again?
