one of my friends profile shows nothing but everyone elses shows their playlists

one of my friends profile shows nothing but everyone elses shows their playlists.. how come i cant see her playlists.. is it because she is a premium user and im not..  and if i go premium will other people not be able to see my lists

Privacy is controlled by the account holder, meaning she can choose whether or not her playlists are shown publically on her profile, and by the sounds of it she has opted to keep them private. Playlist privacy is not connected to your subscription status.

how do i check the privacy of my playlists so i can call them and tell them...

You can view the privacy of your playlists on your account either by going to your name in the top right of the client, and selecting "Profile". On your profile page every playlist will have its privacy setting shown under its cover artwork (although be aware there is a bug which is known to show starred as secret even when it is really public). Alternative, if you right click on any playlist name in your sidebar, there is a "Make Secret" option which will have a tick if the playlist is private.

Thank u Peter.. when i look at my friend Gigi Marie. it says she is not following any playlists and it doesnt show any of her playlists. i kno she has them cuz i see them on "trending playlists" and i followed one of them from the "trending playlist." but her profile shows nothing. same with my friend julie santiago. is it because Gigi upgraded to Premium... but Julie didnt so that cant be it
