password recovery

today i tried to login with my username and password instead of logging in with facebook. unfortunately i had to recognize that i don't remember my password anymore and the email associated with the account which i would usually use to to reset my password does unfortunately not exist anymore.

any suggestions on how to set a new password?

Hi there,

To find the right solution, first we need to know how did you created your account? Is it thru facebook ? or thru your email address?

If your account is created thru your Facebook details. It's your Facebook password you'll need to change. You can do that here.

But if your account is created using your email address, and your email address does not exist anymore, then you should contact Spotify directly thru this contact form, so that they can update the information for you.
