playlists gone after changing my login details, please fix.

The premium account that I've been using for the last few years still had my Dad's username, password, e-mail address etc from when he first created it for me. So I recently updated these details on my account page, on the spotify site.

However, when I now login with the new details, it's a new account, without premium, without all of my playlists.

The old details are no longer recognised.

My account should not have changed like this.

Please could spotify fix this, or give me a way to recover my account settings and playlists.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Spotify usernames never change (you can't actually change your username), so your premium will still be linked to the same username as before. If you have changed the password, but you can't login, request a password reset by entering your username on the password reset page and that should let you log into your original account again.

I normally log into spotify with my fb but i deleted my fb so now im my username to log in but my playlists are gone.  How do I get my playlists back?

Did you create your account using Facebook?
