I have a paid Premium subscription. My son gave me a Spotify Annual eGift card as a B Day gift but I can't seem to upload it onto my account. It keeps saying the code I put in is not correct. I have tried the Card # and when that didn't work, I tried the Pin#. So FRUSTRATING!

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

When redeeming a Gift Card here, there are some things to keep in mind:

  • Make sure you’ve entered the correct characters. E.g. a zero looks like a capital ‘O’, or a capital ‘I’ looks like a one.
  • After 4 failed attempts, you’ll get an error message. If you do, you can try again after 24 hours.

The card number on a Gift Card is generally not accepted, so you'll need to use the actual Gift Card code that's on it.
