Add to favorites button not working

My Question or Issue

The "Mi piace" heart-shaped button (I think it is the equivalent of the English "Add to favorites") is no longer working on the android app. Whenever i click it, either from an album or from a song, it does not become green and does not add the song or the album to the favorites. Please not that once it used to work, and that the feature is still working on the desktop app on my PC. I already tried to reinstall the mobile app but did not solve the issue. THanks

Can you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one. That way you can make sure the cache is not causing any issues.

In case you're using an SD card, you can remove it, reinstall Spotify and then try running the app without the SD.
