Adding local file FROM mobile device!

Adding local file FROM mobile device!

So I have found about 40 threads on how to add files from your desktop to a playlist, but what about adding a file from my phone to a playlist? I have a few that I would really love to add in but I can't find them again and was hoping to set it up this way. PLZ HALP.

Hi! That's not possible but you can give kudos and comments to this idea -> https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Use-Existing-Song-Files-on-Mobile-Devices/idi-p/176966  . More kudos might make Spotify to implement the feature.

This isn't really what your asking for, but a make-shift solution would be to transfer whatever files you have on your phone onto your computer, which you CAN do. THEN transfer it from your computer to your spotify, which you can ALSO do.

That would work too 🙂 But giving kudos to that idea will help make Spotify decide to make local files on mobile devices be easily put to playlists with no too much effort needed. Copying local files from phone to desktop, importing it on desktop and syncing it takes a lot of time.
