Hello Guys, I had a few issues with the Spotify App and therefore I reinstalled it. So I started it an it greeted me with a Message which says that there is no SD-Card found or not enough Storage. Before I made some more Space on my Phone I had no problem running the App but now with even more Space on my Phone it does not work anymore? Is there a way without SD-Card?
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy SII with Android 4.1.2 and ~550mb Space left. I got Spotify Premium and no SD-Card
i've already tried reinstalling multiple times without success.

And that's AFTER uninstalling the Spotify app???
If so, that's definately an issue with Android. Can you check if there are any Software Updates for your phone? You're on the latest official release of Android, but Samsung may have pushed a fix for writing to internal memory.
Can you check the properties of the folder and see if you can remove the write protection?
Don't suppose you're rooted at all? If you are, we may be able to do something.

I've redone my whole Phone now. I resetted everything back to Zero. The app runs fine again now.. thx for your support
Hi, that would have been the next step but wanted to rule out every other possibility first.
It seems that for whatever reason when uninstalling the app Android did not remove the folder and instead made it write-protect. So when you re-installed the app it couldn't write to this folder causing your issues.
Sorry you had to go down the full wipe route, but hope you understand that this was caused by the Android OS and not the Spotify app.
On a plus side, you'll probably find your phone is a bit smoother and may notice some battery improvements due to a 'spring clean'. I tend to wipe mine every time a new base is released as I find it helps. Glad you're sorted at least.
Yeah at some point I had to full wipe my Phone anyway so it doesn't matter at all. It was full of stuff and went pretty slow and laggy..
Works much smoother and faster after wipe so at the end it is all fine 😄
btw. I wasn't able to delete anything on my Phone before the wipe happened for no real reason so it was definitly a OS related problem
