My Question or Issue
Everything was peachy just over a week ago and then BAM, I cannot see any of my 7 echos on the Spotify app. I can talk to Alexa and she will play anything as normal, but I cannot see ANY of them on the Spotify app. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Alexa and Spotify apps with no luck. I've tried resetting the networks on my phone. My wife doesn't have the Spotify app, so I downloaded it on her Pixel 5a and for TWO SECONDS it listed all of the echoes, and then they disappeared! WTH is happening? I did notice that Spotify just did an update on 12-10-21 and I believe that could be the day all of this started. Someone PLEASE help me, this is driving me batty!!!
Thank you...
This worked for me, I can’t thank you enough.
This worked for me. Thank you!
I did the following, which worked for me:
1. From web browser log into Spotify account. In 'Applications' remove 'Alexa'
2. From phone Alexa app unlink Spotify (Settings>Music & Podcasts>Spotify>Disable skill)
3. Restart phone Alexa app and relink Spotify and Enable skill (Settings>Music & Podcasts>Add Spotify>Enable skill)
4. From mobile Spotify app, play a song and click device icon to play on an echo device, keep this Spotify 'Current Device' window open
5. Whichever echo device not showing, take out power cable from echo device for 30 secs, plug back in and after echo has reset (blue light stops spinning on echo), the echo device will appear in your spotify app. Repeat for other echo devices not showing
has this been solved? i'm experiencing this issue and none of the previous advice is working
Out of all of the advice in this thread, this is the only thing that actually worked. Thank you, HUGE help!

Uninstalling didn't work for me but I paired my echo to my phone by saying "alexa, pair" then selecting the echo from my phones Bluetooth search. Hope this helps anyone
Yeah, just fixed mine by opening the Alexa app> clicked "Connect a Device" under Bluetooth Connections> then selected my phone. It started playing instantly and now my Echo Dot appears in the Spotify app.
It must have reset all the settings to default after the last power outage. Although I never had this issue with my Google Home Mini.
This solved it for me, Thank you! I kept doing everything and nothing worked on 2 of my echos with different spotify accounts, until I told echo "Alexa, Spotify Connect" She only suggested to go on spotify and click on the devices thing but somehow that was enough for it to show up lol.
Sorry.. It's a shitty solution.. neither does this step suggested by you in that article work.. Worse still is that it deleted all the offline playlists that i had downloaded using the Spotify app earlier.
CurlyQ802's trick worked. once connected to echo by bluetooth, it jiggles something so that now you can pick it as a device normally, and then once you do that it lets you tell alexa to play spotify again...
This worked for me! Thanks 👍
I've tried everything in this chain of messages I've played with settings Uninstaller alexa and spotify multiple times but nothing works. Right beside the 'select devices' there is a loading sign but it's been loading for 2 DAYS.
Ids this the best that Spotify can Offer - why not de-install and not use another service - for a tech company this is BS for a production app.
I had the same problem. Say “Alexa, Spotify Connect” and you should see your Alexas pop up.
I had same problem. Say “Alexa, Spotify Connect” and you will magically see your Alexas pop up in your available Spotify devices.
Works excellent! 😘Thank you!!
