Google Play store states "Please note: This app features Nielsen’s audience measurement software which will allow you to contribute to market research, such as Nielsen’s Audio Measurement. If you don't want to participate, you can opt-out within the app settings."
I cannot see this option in the app settings, so I want to confirm that I am contributing to Nielsen Analytics.
I am using the latest version (3.70.833)

Well, I contacted the support myself at the end of December and didn't get any response whatsoever...
I would like an update on this as well. This is something that is getting under my skin. The are in a way forcing us into this. Who knows what other information they are collecting? If they are bold enough to give thier users a blatant runaround and misinformation. I hate Corporate America!
For similar reasons I dislike the need of a Facebook account to get most out of Spotify.
I got an answer from the support team with the following statement
"[...] Nielsen's measurement software is not in anyway related to our software.
Please contact Google Play for more detailed help how to opt out from Nielsen's measurement software. [...]"
If this is indeed correct however I am still puzzled why the statement in the app store listing is not simply removed. Or at least clarified.
