Android Auto Album Art

When using Spotify with Android Auto, the album art display on my Honda Accord (2016) does not show properly.  It sometimes seems to work when the phone is first connected, but once the second track queues up it goes away.  Any ideas?

Can confirm this issue hits me as well, 2017 accord. The very first song will show album art at the top screen but any song after that it won't display the song art. Going to check with Honda but I'm sure they'll say it's an issue somewhere between Android auto or Spotify but we'll see.
