Android Auto - Spotify loading issue

Solved!

Android Auto - Spotify loading issue

Hey,

since the latest Spotify version I experience a loading loop of Spotify.

This ends up with the message from Spotify that it's currently not working.

The workaround is delte cache and data verytime before I connect my phone to the car's infotainment system. Makes me tired and is annoying.

mobile: galaxy s7 (7.0)

spotify: latest

AA: latest

gapps: latest

car: skoda octavia combi 2016

cheers

Try reinstalling Spotify on your device.

Reinstalling gives the app a new lease of life, fixing many common issues you may be experiencing.

Note: Any offline playlists will need to be redownloaded after reinstalling.

For your Andoid device:

  1. From the Android home screen, tap Settings > Apps.
  2. Find Spotify in your list of apps, tap it. For older Android devices, navigate to Settings > Applications > Manage applications.
  3. Tap Clear Data. If you're using Android 6.0+, tap Storage > Clear Data
  4. Tap Uninstall.
For a clean reinstall, go to Storage > Android > Data and delete a folder called com.spotify.music
  5. Open Google Play then search for and install the Spotify Music app.
