My Question or Issue

I'm using spotify in my car through Android Auto feature.

My issue is that I cannot launch a Jam session in this configuration, and I'd like to do that because I can only pair 1 smartphone to my android Auto app....so it could be useful to have other people in the car joining the Jam

Hey @moreje,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

Currently, the Jam feature is only available for mobile devices and the desktop app as it doesn't support voice commands yet. Also, remember that Android auto may limit the functionality of some apps for safety purposes in order to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.

If you think other users may like this option as well, we'd recommend posting your idea in our Ideas Exchange board so it can be voted on and eventually reach the relevant teams to be taken into account. We'd also suggest checking our guidelines to avoid any early rejections.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.

It is specifically a feature that would enhence security since it gives control of music to another person in the car.. So I don't understand such a limitation.

I've tested and it is actually possible to launch a jam... But taking back the phone.. So it it worst in terms of security....
