Hi,
I am having a problem where my offline tracks disappear. I have recently moved to a country where internet is limited and therefore this is a real problem for me.
I'm 90% sure that the issue is due to using Android File Transfer to mount the sd card in order to copy pictures from the device.
Whilst it is mounted it seems to uncheck the selection of where to save 'Storage'
I assume that when you then select SD Card a new Device ID is created and it's almost like a new offline account.
A new device appears in the Offline Devices of the Account page.
The issue is that the files are still on my SD Card and therefore there must be a way to relink them to the app. I'm assuming they don't link because the device id has changed.
How can this be fixed so that i don't have to re-download all the tracks every time i mount the sd card? OR is my theory completely wrong?
Many thanks in advance.
Hi there, that's a good theory and you could well be right.
However, I would first suggest a clean install; the guide below details the steps to take to ensure a full 'clean installation' is achieved - This includes checking redundant folders, removing offline devices and a REBOOT!

Thanks. Yeah i've tried that a couple of times. The complete guide is posted to almost every thread.
Any thoughts on linking already downloaded tracks back to the app? That's the real question here. This will save me having to download everything again.
Thanks
Hey, so the files got wiped today again. It happened when i swapped sims.
To give some context, i've moved countries and can't make phone calls on my current sim so am trying another provider, hence why i've been changing sims frequently as well as using my UK sim from time to time, i'm hoping i won't have to keep doing that though and will stick with one sim card.
Does that give you any insight into what might be happening?
I'll try this now:
'Can you try running it through 'chkdsk /f /x' on a computer and then a full format'
Running on Mac so did the following:

Reformatted now as well, although it seems no problems were found.

What device are you using with? Just to check; you do have a premium account???
Please read the guide linked below for details on the most common issues and how to fix them. Usually a clean install is the first step to take and resolves most of the usual issues; the guide details the steps to take to ensure a full 'clean installation' is achieved - This includes checking redundant folders, removing offline devices and a REBOOT!

Yeah premium subscription.
I am using an LG G3 running Marshmallow, i did the clean wipe and reinstall yesterday and also change the SD settings from 'Adoptive Storage' to Internal.
Hopefully this will have fixed the problem...hopefully.
