[Android] Status bar weird color after latest update & UI issues

My Question or Issue

After the latest update I got today, version 8.7.90.544, the status bar color became weird bluish/purplish tone which doesn't fit with the dark grey background color of the app. This looks like a mistake.. I would be glad for it to be fixed. (1st screenshot below)

Also another suggestion, it would be nice if the status bar of the app would be always transparent like it is on the iOS version. The status bar is very close to the icons and texts below and it looks visually unappealing. Also sometimes the colors become a bit off to the color of the background.. (2nd screenshot below)

Please transfer it to the relevant design/developing teams.. It's the least I could ask..

We can confirm this is expected behavior. We value every peace of feedback our users let us know, and we appreciate the time you took to write all your comments on the matter to us. The bar will take the color of the now playing view and of the song being played. On the search section, you'll see it black.
