Android - X Button to close the app

Android - X Button to close the app

Hello,

i use spotify for a year or so but lately i'm thinking to give my money to somebody else.

WHO ON EARTH still uses a X-Button on the lockscreen for their apps??? That drives me nuts. When i'm running, driving (bad enough) or even just listen to some music and i want to change the song...

AAAAAAAAND its gone. Why? Because i pressed the X to close the app.

This is unbelievable. Spotify is the only App with this bulls*it. What is so hard to just pause the music and swipe the app to close it? Why do i need a close button for that?

And look at the button sizes? Why is everything so small? Look at google play store player. Its perfect. Its big enough, it has a play/pause, skip button and if i want to close it, i just press pause and swipe it of my screen.

There were about a dozens of questions for that but the only answer you here is: You don't have enough kudos? Kudos? Are you kiddin' me? It's annoying and you know it!

Thank you but no, thank you.

Hi there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

I use Spotify on Android but I do not see any "X" button in the GUI.

Can You please explain better and specify where You see the "X"?

Also it would be useful to let us know the following details:

1. Exact Device (e.g. Samsung Galaxy 4)

2. Exact operating system (e.g. 4.4.2)

3. Spotify app version installed (2.0.0)

4. What are you doing when you press the "X"? Is it when it opens? When scrolling through tracks? When searching?

5. Post a screenshot of the device screen.

If you could get back to us with those details it would be great.

Thanks!

Camillo
