Android app dropping tracks in offline mode

Android app dropping tracks in offline mode

ok, so i recently switched to premium, as i dont have a large data allowance, and spotify is blocked on works wifi.  thing is i am having a very annoying problem since.  i download songs to my device so i can listen offline, but everyday it is randomly dropping tracks, and so i have to go online again so it can re-sync.  i did a test and checked how much data the app was using when it had dropped 5 tracks today, i then let it sync the 5 tracks back to my device, and when i checked the data again, it had gone up slightly, suggesting that in offline mode, the app is actually deleting tracks 😕

the device i am using, if it helps, is, Motorola Moto G, running latest kitkat 4.4.4.  there is no SD card on this device, so before you ask, i am storing on the phones internal memory.

really hoping this can be fixed as i want to stick with premium, but if it keeps doing it i may just have to go back to the inferior catologue on google music 😞

OMG, just 20 mins after letting it sync, it has dropped a song!

There is an open bug about this, unfortunately it has been an issue for some people for a long time.
