Android app "forgets" certain local files, why?

I have several local files on my phone (S23 Ultra, though I had the same issue on an S22 Ultra) and they usually play fine from the liked songs playlist. But seemingly randomly, Spotify deems certain songs unplayable even though nothing changes.   If I go specifically to the local songs folder in the app, they play fine, just not from the liked songs playlist. Moving the file from 1 folder to another recognized by the app suddenly makes it playable again.   Is this a problem anyone is aware of a solution to?

Thanks for reaching out. Does this happen with specific tracks or is it sporadic? Could you make a screen recording showing us the exact behaviour so we can take a closer look? If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.
