[Android auto] Can't load library when offline

My Question or Issue

 It used to be possible to open the library while offline on Android Auto. Since a couple of weeks this doesn't work anymore and I always have to switch data on in order to change a playlist etc.

Did this start happening after an app or firmware update? Do you have any trouble if you sort your tunes by Downloaded?

Hey Sergio,

I cannot exactly tell you if this started after an app update, whether that is Spotify or Android Auto. The last update happened 3 days ago and the error continues. I am now on version 8.4.61.683.

In Android Auto I cannot sort anything, so that didn't help.

Are you getting any error messages when this happens, or is this just showing as frozen? 

Could you also confirm if this is happening on your phone, or your stereo display when connecting your phone to Android Auto?

Hey Melody,

there is no error message, just a loading screen. And after a while, it loads the current queue instead of the library.

This happens only on my phone, the car doesn't have Android Auto.

Btw: I'm on version 8.4.63.584 now and the library now loads while offline.
