Thanks for your answer. It was indeed a Google related problem, I had to go in the Google Home app parameters under "music" and unlink an old Spotify free account that was there for some reason even though I haven't used it or logged in it in over 2 years... The problem seems to be solved, thank you for your help, I hope this can help others with the same problem.
Hey @chris259,
Thanks for reaching out.
As a first step, can you please make sure you're logged into the correct account in your car? If yes, then try logging out and back in a couple of times to force a re-sync.
If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app and let us know if this is the first time you're using Spotify in your car.
Let us know how it goes.
Hey @chris259,
Thanks for the clarifications.
It's important to make sure you're logged in on the right account, because sometimes users are logged in on a free account although they have a Premium one. Here is how to check what's the case on your end.
Let us know how that went.
Cheers!
Hey @chris259,
Thanks for the reply.
What is the brand and model of the car? Did the car head unit come with a preinstalled Spotify with a logged in on account?
Keep us posted.
Cheers!
Hey @chris259,
Thanks for letting us know!
It seems to me that this is a Google-related issue so let's try unlinking your Google and Spotify accounts and then reconnecting them again for good measure first.
In case the issue persists after this, you may take a look at this Google support page for further assistance 🙂
Keep us posted on how things go!
