My Question or Issue

Only just installed Spotify for first time on the phone yesterday but it won't launch. It crashes each time I select the app.

Went into settings and check permissions and gave it full access. 

Same applies for Wifi or on Mobile network

Restarted phone

Uninstalled Spotify

Reinstalled app and still no joy.

Help please!

As you have stated, you have already tried clean reinstall but it didn't help.

Now, have you checked if the battery optimization is turned off for Spotify in the apps settings, if not then check it and turn off the battery optimization and restart your phone?

If that doesn't work I would suggest you to log out from your Spotify account and log in again.

I would also recommend you to read this post in case it helps to solve your problem.

Hi,

I should have stated earlier that I already turned off the power optimization to no avail and phone was restated multiple times after making changes. 

I've tried Youtube and other apps and they all work. I've yet to try another music app to see if there are restrictions on my network playing music apps but why would there be?

Have you tried to sign out from the Spotify account and signing in again?

I never get a chance to sign in - it crashes immediately.
