App crashes when navigating my library

My Question or Issue

The app works great except for a critical bug. When navigating to either Your Library -> Music -> Artists, Your Library -> Music -> Albums, or Your Library -> Podcasts the app freezes then crashes to my phone home screen. 

I've tried clearing my spotify cache, then reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone, no luck.

Just to further clarify, does this happen while music is playing? If the answer is "yes", it'd be good for you to go here, add your +VOTE, post the required info and subscribe so you receive all the useful updates. 

If you're using an SD card with your Galaxy device, would you mind formatting the card and then performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app? It'd also be great to make sure the card is not formatted as “Internal” memory.

Also, it'd be helpful to confirm that the Spotify app has all the required permissions on your phone and is white-listed for any battery-saver or cache-cleaner apps or tools.

Hi,

To be clear, the app ONLY crashes when opening the artists, albums, or podcasts tab. It doesn't crash at any other point during my use no matter how long I've been using it and how long it has been playing back.

That said I used your advice and took the following steps:

Uninstall spotify -> power down phone -> remove SD card -> power up phone -> install spotify

At this point, the crash when navigating my library was gone.

power down phone -> re-insert SD card (not having changed it or formatted it at all) -> open spotify

The issue seems to have cleared up for the time being. Thanks!
