App minimizes itself when logged in

My Question or Issue

Ever since I updated Spotify to 8.5.15.660, it's been minimizing itself after a few seconds of trying to open it. The app would display correctly on the screen for a few seconds and then disappear. When I press the bottom right Android button—which I just now looked up and learned is called the Overview button—it shows Spotify is still running. Just, whenever I try to switch to the app, it disappears.

This only happens when I'm logged in to Spotify. I tried clearing cache and data. When I opened the app afterwards, it worked fine, but when I logged back in, the same thing happened. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my phone. I'm having no problems with Spotify on my computer.
