App will start and then close immediately

My Question or Issue

App will not open. The Spotify logo appears and the app closes.

So far I've tried:
- Restart device
- Force stop app
- Clean storage and cache, uninstall app and clean reinstall
- App has all permissions granted
- App is NOT battery optimized
This happens on and off wifi, at home, office, and on the road. Problem started shortly after the Android update and the 9/30/2019 Spotify update
