Bluetooth Share has stopped working

Hello,

It seems that since I updated Spotify around mid-February that everytime I play Spotify connected to bluetooth, within a couple of minutes I get a recurring 'Bluetooth Share has stopped working'. The bluetooth then turns off, reboots, connects to my devices, then stops again. It has happened in the past but it some how corrected itself without my doing. 

I have searched everywhere I can. There is a post on here about the issue but it is from 2015 and not applicable now. There are a few posts on Google but they all point to it being a specific problem with Bluetooth itself and the coding. 

Hopefully anybody on here is able to point me in the right direction to correct the issue.
