Can I play automatically using a URI

I've been trying to make an NFC play an album automatically when touched. I wrote the URI to the tag, but it will only open the album on the mobile app, not play it. Any way to achieve this?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the URI to launch in the app? I can get the URL to launch in my browser, but the URI opens spotify, not the specific album/artist. Thanks!

Managed to solve this issue. Best way to do it is to use the URI of the first song in the album, then it will start playing the album from the beginning. If you have shuffle mode on it will stay on, so you will have to find a way to disable shuffle mode automatically too, there are tutorials for this on YouTube
