My Question or Issue

Every time I restart my phone Spotify asks me to log in again. If I try to it tells me that I am offline. The only solution I have found by now is to completely remove Spotify and reinstall it again by which I lose all my downloads. That's very annoying.

Is there anything else I could try? By the way the data is stored on a SD card that I have checked with several tools and has no errors.

Kind regards

Hey @GhostMW,

Thanks for reaching out. Welcome to the community!

This is currently a known ongoing issue and is under investigation by the Spotify tech teams. You can add your +VOTE here so you can keep up to speed.

In the meantime, there's a workaround for this issue. When you get the "Please go online to connect to Spotify", just hit cancel > delete password > re-enter password > log in.

You should be able to get back in this way, without having to reinstall the app.

Let me know if that doesn't do the trick, and I'll see what I can suggest next!

Hi Noah,

thanks for your help, I'll give that a try the next time I'm facing that problem.

Sad that this problem exists for such a long time, Spotify doesn't seem to care for their paying customers.

Kind regards

Marcus
