Cannot connect to Chromecast Audio from Android Pie on Galaxy Note 9

I cannot connect to Chromecast Audio from Android Pie running on Galaxy Note 9. Whenever I try to do it, all the Chromecast devices are grayed out and cannot be selected. On the other hand, I can cast audio from other installed applications (ie. Musixmatch, TuneIn) without any problem. I noticed this issue about 2 weeks ago after the update to Pie and hopped that Spotify was going to fix it shortly. Well, 2 weeks later the issue is still there...Any hints?
