Hello, I just set up my chromecast audio and I'm supposed to be able to stream spotify music to my speakers through it. I play music on my iphone and then I select the device and it starts working at first. after a few songs it always starts stuttering. Does someone have the same problem? does someone have a chromecast audio working with spotify?
Latest versions of everything (chromecast's firmware, spotify app)
original cables
next to the router (2,4GHz network)
apparently it has to do with spotify because I just donwloaded Deezer and I'm not having the same issue.
any ideas?

I am having the same Problem.
Song starts playing ok on chromecast, but then starts stuttering and it becomes impossible to listen to.
All other chromecast apps work fine: YouTube, Vevo, photo cast, Netflix.
Anyone knows how to contact Spotify support?

Same here. My parents were suffering from it since Wednesday. Today it started here as well. Spotify has not updated, perhaps my chromecast audio, but I'm unable to check that.

Same problem here. Stutters after a few songs on my and wife's iPhone, but works fine with pandora. Can't believe nothing's being done about this. The app is unusable because the skipping is so bad, like I'm listening to a scratched cd. Seriously considering returning the chromecast or getting rid of Spotify.
Same here. Sometimes gets better and lasts for a week (arbitrary) then goes tits up again. Really annoying. Connection is 150mbit an router is within 3m reach 😕

Same problem, it happens only with Spotify and only on the chromecast (no problem on other devices). As a temporary workaround I use the phone as normal and then stream the audio to the chromecast, instead of selecting other devices from within the spotify app. Really annoying tho, because this way the chromecast plays every media just like a bluetooth speaker.

I'm having the same issue, Spotify will work for a few songs and then start to stutter. Sometimes it starts stuttering immediately. It just started a few weeks ago, never had any problems before that. All of my firmware and apps are up to date. I've tried unininstalling Spotify on my iPhone and logging out, which didn't help. The issue is not with the internet connection. Please help, this is infuriating.
I also have this issue, it's very frustrating and is making me consider switching away from Spotify
Exactly same thing happens here. I have no idea how to fix this.. any other services work fine. Casting all sound to cc work too, but it doesnt make sense have a cc working like a bluetooth device to play Spotify...
