Clear data

Clear data

I'm a bit new to this.

I have Spotify free and my android Huawei has run out of internal memory ( the app. won't allow me to 'move to SD' card). There is a huge 1.4GB of data there. The question is if I select 'clear data' will I lose my play lists? By the way why is there so much data there as I am on spotify free with no off line playback?

Hi there. You won't lose your playlists as they are stored on the server, as soon as you log back in again after clearing the cache you will see your playlists back.

As for the cache size. It does seem a little excessive. What this is made up of is artwork, settings as well as recently played music cache. Like I say, this she's seem excessive for a free user with no offline Playlists so removing your cache manually is a good idea
