My Question or Issue

One of my friends' playlist, which I follow, has disappeared from her profile. I can still find it in my library. Did she delete it, or she just put the paylist private?

There are two ways that Spotify users can use to control their playlists' visibility:

1. Managing the public playlists published to their Spotify profile
2. Making playlists public or private

If you’re still able to access in your Spotify library a friend’s playlist that you no longer see on her Spotify profile, then she most likely removed the playlist from her Spotify profile but still has the playlist set to public. In this way, playlist followers can still access and listen to the playlist, even though it’s not published on your friend’s profile.

Note that if your friend instead made the playlist private (or deleted it), then it wouldn’t be available for you to access from your library and listen to, even if you’d already followed it.
