Deleting the cache and saved data not working

Deleting the cache and saved data not working

Hey guys this is bugging me. After some issues on syncing yesterday was fixed now my phone is full on storage space. I did the deleting of saved data and cache from the settings menu and it didint worked. Then I clear the cache of the app and uninstalled it, still my phone was full. Am I missing something here?

Thanks,

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

How much free storage space do you have on your device?
Spotify won't start synching normally unless you have 500MB-1GB of free space.

I only have 640mb right now. And when you say syncing what does that mean?

So it might be the problem. I mean the same as you - syncing the songs from your account to your phone 🙂
Is it possible for you to free more space?

Okay I now have 1.5 gigs of free space, how long does it take to clear up data? This is my first time having this issue so yeah, sorry for too much question.

My storage space is still not changing from 1.5gb.

I guess I'll just reset my phone and move to other service for music streaming for now. Maybe after 6 mos I'll try spotify again. Man I can't believe data cleanup is this flawed in spotify, considering that I go premium for offline use.

Thanks,

That is really unusual, Katsune. Unfortunately I can not figure out what is going on 😕

I hope someone else help you with it!
