EQ lowers the volume drastically

I think the sound quality is pretty poor without the EQ. The problem is
when i activate the EQ the volume drops drastically. Any ideas what to do?
Using a Samsun Galaxy S3 -mini. Have tried a reinstallation.

Almost the same on Samsung Galaxy Trend 2.

Volume is lower with EQ, compared to without. Actually it is how it works 😞

I feel that you need better earphones to fix volume issues. On my 50 € Sennheiser earphones sound is gorgeous w/o EQ and so loud!
