Everytime I open Spotify it has logged me out of the app and reset my settings

My Question or Issue

Everytime I open the Spotify app it asks me to relog, and after I do, I quickly realize all my settings have reset. This happens everytime the app isn't open in the bg. What do I do? (I have tried reinstalling app and rebooting phone)

- When did this start happening?

- Does it only happen with the current account, or does it happen with any account that you try to log in on this device?

This started happening recently. I can’t test this with other accounts

Can you please confirm performing a clean reinstall, making sure to clear all Spotify app data on the device (step 4)?

In addition, can you let me know if this started happening when updating the Spotify app or your iOS?

Creating a free Spotify account for the testing process can help as well.

Read my post again. I clearly stated I have done a reinstall and I am also using Android

thanks for your patience!

There's a slight difference beween reinstall and a clean reinstall.

Please follow these steps : 

- Go to your device's Settings and clear the data there:

- Settings>Apps>Spotify>Storage>Clear data

It is indeed a small change but it can help solving a few issues you might be having with your Spotify app.
