Extreme quality with Chromecast Audio

Hello! Why I can't change the quality of the stream to extreme if I am connected with Chromecast Audio? I connected the chromecast to my HiFi-system and for that for sure I want to have the best quality than. Of course I am using Spotify premium.

Hi @user-removed,

You have to change the Streaming qualitiy at first on your phone, for that go into the Settings in Spotify.

If you cast it the stream will be in that quality on your Chromecast.

The Spotify app does not control the quality of streaming from Connect or Cast devices. That's why those controls are greyed out when playing remotely.
