Facebook Preventing my Spotify Login

I just got Spotify re-download ed on my phone but when I try to login it says I do not have a Spotify account linked to Facebook. It then tells me to login with my Spotify credentials, but when I try, it gives me the same message. Was there a recent update or something that caused this? I would give a screens hot to show you, but your privacy policy prevents that.

You are using your spotify username and not an email address to log in?

I tried both. I tried it again today though and the username was correct. Thank you!
