Forcing videos on users - STOP

You must stop forcing videos on people trying to listen to the audio only. I've seen a number of people complain about this on here and the only response is "well that's just how it is right now"... well that wasn't always the case and it should be a forced choice for users. If I've got music playing and a song comes on in video form, while my screen is off, and I have to listen to the actors or artist talk in the video, for minutes in some cases, before the song starts, it really frustrates me, takes me right out of my flow as I then have to break concentration, open my phone and switch back to audio. 

I have no issues with videos being on the platform but I do not want the video audio to supersede the song audio when my phone is locked with the screen off. Please give us an option to fix this.

That’s a good idea. You should post it in the Idea Submissions forum and it may be considered for future versions of the app.

Just be sure to check out if the idea is already there. If it's not, submit it after reading the idea submission guidelines. 🙂
