Frequent crashing

Frequent crashing

I've a problem with the app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with Android 5.0.2. Suddenly when I'm browsing for artists or songs within the app it will crash. And every time the crash it also crash my launcher (in my case it's Nova launcher). I think it's when the app open the cover thumbnails for the albums or artists, after a while when browsing, then the app goes crazy. This has happened for a while but after the last update (4.0.0.800) it became worse. If not browsing, just open the app, clicking to start a song and just listening, not searching, mostly it work, but all of a sudden the whole app crash again and the song stops. This wasn't the case earlier, Spotify is, was, very stable. But now I can't search for songs. Have Spotify Premium. Please fix! Best

Did you consider your internet connection?
Apps usually like to crash due a spotty connection.
I assume that you're using your tablet via WiFi?
Or do you use cellular?
Close open apps where "background-refresh" is enabled. For example stocks.
In general you should close all open apps if you aren't using them anymore, because of increased CPU-activity.
If that doesn't work try to restart your tablet, often that will help you.
If not, delete the app and reinstall it. It should also come with the next update.
As far as I know there is already a 4.10.941 out.
But I'm using iOS, maybe I'm wrong.
If you sync your tablet to a computer regularly, download a backup.
I hope we could help you.
Good luck 🙂
