Galaxy s22 won't play podcasts

My Question or Issue

Got this phone on Friday. Can no longer play podcasts. My old phone an s9 never had any problem.

Spotify has full permissions. I've Uninstalled/reinstalled. I don't know what else to do. 

I can play podcasts only if I download the episode and go to airplane mode. 

Please help.

To add I've tried on mobile data as well as 2 different wifi networks and still can't get it to work.

Hi @shellasaurusrex!

Does this happen with a specific podcast or with all podcasts in general? You can try playing a podcast from another device (for example from your old phone or your PC), then switching to your new phone with Spotify Connect to see if the playback would resume on your new phone.

If possible, you can also ask a friend or a relative that uses Spotify to log in to their account on your phone to see if the issue persists.
