Ghost spotify

I installed spotify on my Huawei Honor 7 with all latest updates installed. I started listening to some music, then stopped it, closing all apps. Then suddenmy, inconveniently at 7am my phone starts blaring out the last song I listened to from the beginning. It has done it three times in a week, I have deleted and reinstalled the app, closed the automatic push notifications and everything. It seems it goes on whenever my phone reconnects to our wifi. What to do??? I really want spotify to work!!

Is it possible that there is a connected device on the same wifi network as you and using the same login? 

If not, rather than uninstall the app, you could try force killing it from within the Android system settings, Apps section - that should stop it.
