My Question or Issue
At first, my sister complaining about why her Spotify doesn't show lyrics on her phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Android 10, Family Premium member). Out of curiosity, I tried to log my account (Family Premium manager) out and then log my family member account in on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Android 10).
I found that the phone is not the real culprit behind the problem, in fact I believe it was caused by the family member status (the lyrics work when I logged in the family manager account).
I don't really know about the Spotify Policies for the Lyrics Feature so that I want confirmation from Spotify team. Please kindly help.

Thanks for the update @user-removed!
Your sister should be able to see the feature when following the steps here.
If the lyrics don't appear, we can suggest some troubleshooting steps that should help.
She can start off with logging out > performing a clean reinstall of the app > logging back in.
If that doesn't make a difference, we'd recommend that she creates a new account to see if she'll be able to see the lyrics on there.
In case she does, she can follow the steps here to transfer her music to the new account and you can add her to Family plan again.
Keep us posted on how it goes.
Hey there!
Welcome to the Community and thanks for bringing this up with us.
Our Genius lyrics feature is currently only available on select songs and playlists but it's not determined by one's subscription status.
When you logged in on your account on your sister's device did you see lyrics on the same songs that didn't show them on her account?
Does she get the same result if she loggs in on your device with her account?
We'll be on the lookout for your update! Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
Hi Elena, thanks for responding.
As for both of your question:
1. When you logged in on your account on your sister's device did you see lyrics on the same songs that didn't show them on her account? : Yes, the lyrics are shown based on song availability on her phone.
2. Does she get the same result if she logs in on your device with her account? : Yes, lyrics are not available.
Is it bugs?
Thank you.

Not solved. The"solution" it's to create a new account under the family membership and copy your playlist. I refuse to do this. I'm the one actually PAYING for the family account. Needs to be solved on the back end.
Hey @marinabuenosaires,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.
This post is from a couple years ago and the process has changed since then. We're aware that some users are reporting a similar issue with the Lyrics feature on mobile. First, if you haven't tried yet, we’d recommend logging out and back in twice to force the sync between the device and the account. After that, reboot your device and try again.
However, if the issue persists, we’d suggest checking the information mentioned in the top answer of this post and following those steps.
Hope it helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.
I did everything indicated but creating a new account. Finally the issue was solved by contacting Spotify through the Help chat in the app. The request was elevated to the development team and after a few hours I got the Lyrics. So, for any user with the same problem: CONTACT SPOTIFY THROUGH THE CHAT. BE PATIENT. TELL THEM THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE. SEND THEM THE LINK TO THIS THREAD. REQUEST THE PROBLEM TO BE ESCALATED. THEY CAN FIX IT BUT THEY HAVE TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH YOUR ACCOUNT.
Hey @marinabuenosaires,
Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.
We appreciate the time you took following the troubleshooting steps and sharing what works for you. Hopefully, other users with the same issue would be able to fix it by following your suggestion.
Thanks again for the report, and if something else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers!
Hey, I have a family premium account in my iPad, but I can’t see the lyrics. Every other device of my family has lyrics. How can I solve this problem?
Hey there @Mirandaki,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
If you can't see Lyrics on your device, your account might need a slight modification from backstage. You can reach out to our support team through one of the channels here. Have your login email and device info at the ready and the team should be able to get this resolved in a couple of working days after they receive your request.
Hope this helps.
